*GERBER® GOOD START® is the first and only infant formula to meet the FDA criteria for a qualified health claim for the relationship between 100% whey protein partially hydrolyzed infant formula and reduced risk of atopic dermatitis.
Feeding a formula exclusively made with 100% whey protein partially hydrolyzed, like GERBER® GOOD START® Gentle for Supplementing formula, to babies with a family history of allergy during the first 4 months of life may reduce the risk of atopic dermatitis throughout the first year, compared to a formula made with intact cow’s milk protein. The scientific evidence for this is limited and not all babies may benefit.

GERBER® GOOD START® Gentle for Supplementing formula should not be fed to infants who are allergic to milk or infants with existing milk-allergy symptoms.
