Baby Food Cookies Recipe
- Stage: Toddler 12+ months
Ingredients
- 1 cup Gerber® Grain & Grow Oatmeal Banana Cereal
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- 4 oz Gerber® sweet potato puree (2 2oz packs)
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the Gerber Grain & Grow cereal, baking powder, and spice until completely combined. Add the Gerber puree, egg and vanilla extract, and stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
- Drop 1 tbsp portions of the cookie mixture onto the lined baking sheet and press down with the back of a spoon to flatten. Bake for 10-12 minutes, checking regularly to avoid burning. If the cookies still appear soft, cook them for another 2 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool entirely on a wire rack. Make sure to cut the cookies to your little one’s age and stage before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2 days, or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
