Autumn Soup

Autumn Soup Recipe

  • Makes: Approximately 3 cups
  • Serving size: ¼ cup
  • Stage: Toddler 12+ months


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 can white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup reduced sodium vegetable broth
  • 6 4oz tubs of Gerber® 2nd Foods® Veggie Power Sweet Potato Apple Pumpkin Puree


  1. Preheat a saucepan over medium heat and add the olive oil. Sauté the ½ yellow onion until soft and translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to the pan, stirring regularly, until evenly heated. If using an immersion blender, blend until smooth. If using a food processor or blender, transport all soup ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Make sure soup is cooled to a safe temperature and serve.
